16-year-old among victims of double shooting

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCBD) – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified a 16-year-old male among those killed Tuesday evening double shooting in Krzyż.

The coroner positively identified a 16-year-old Cross male and 25-year-old Kee Juan D. Middleton of Cross as the victims murdered on Spiers Landing Road.

The coroner’s office reported that at 10:07 p.m. it received information about a fatal shooting in Cross Parish, resulting in the discovery of the bodies of two people.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said law enforcement received a report of a shooting around 7:30 p.m

Berkeley County EMS, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and Central Berkeley Fire & Rescue were called to the scene.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
