The teenager will be charged with assault with particular cruelty

Police found an injured man after being called to the 400 block of Ray Boulevard early Wednesday morning.

THUNDER BAY – A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Thunder Bay police said in a news release that they responded to a report of a robbery at 400 Ray Boulevard just after 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Police located an injured man at the scene and paramedics transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were considered serious but not life-threatening.

A suspicious man was found, arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

The accused appeared in court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody pending his next hearing.
