Country Singer Allegedly Violates CMA Attendance Pledge; the judge issues a warrant for his arrest

Austin Tanner, born aspiring country music singer, has a warrant out for his arrest after allegedly violating bail conditions by attending the 2024 CMA Awards.

On November 26, an Alabama judge issued an arrest warrant for Tanner, days after the Alabama singer traveled to Nashville for take part in the awards ceremony Documents obtained by Fox News Digital show that on November 20 without obtaining court consent.

Tanner, who was charged in April with two counts of insurance fraud and attempted theft of property, was released on $20,000 bail and was not to “leave the state without permission of the court,” the document said. Tanner was fully aware of the condition, documents show.

“The State maintains that there is evidence that on or about November 20, 2024, defendant traveled outside the state of Alabama, as evidenced by photos he posted to his Facebook and Instagram accounts, respectively,” the documents read.

“Given that the defendant is well versed in the travel conditions covered by the bail, and given his public disregard for these restrictions, the State seeks to revoke his bail.”

In a statement to Fox News Digital: Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood said: “There are bond conditions to ensure the safety of the community and the integrity of the justice system. If these conditions are breached, criminals must be held accountable.”

Tanner’s attorney did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

A hearing on the motion to revoke Tanner’s bond has been scheduled for December 4.
