NFL standings ordered by average points allowed: The Eagles’ defense is impressive

And so week 13 arrived. The post-season picture is starting to clear up. The Philadelphia Eagles are staring up the bracket toward the Detroit Lions. Wait! Detroit Lions?

That’s right, boys and girls. This isn’t your mom and dad’s Lions team. Somewhere, Barry Sanders is looking for a time machine. Where the hell was this culture when it fascinated our imaginations?

Don’t worry, Birds fans. The Lions have only lost once, but that doesn’t mean they are unbeatable. Honestly, we believe the Eagles have a chance to secure the top seed in the NFC early in the postseason.

However, if they face the Lions, especially in Detroit, they will need to score points. They will also have to find a way to slow down Jared Goff and company. It’s not impossible either.

Top ten NFL teams allowed in points per game.

While the game of soccer can sometimes be complicated in terms of pattern and strategy, there are concepts that are extremely easy to understand. We don’t need to complicate things here. Teams that score goals and keep their opponents from doing so often win.

Every NFL team has played 11 or 12 games this season. Philly’s defense held up the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offensive attack in Week 4, but the team is still among the top teams in professional football.

They are in first place in the total defense classification. They are in the top ten in points allowed.

Philly’s defense will be tested in Week 13. You may have heard. The Baltimore Ravens are talented. They are fielding the reigning MVP (Lamar Jackson) and Saquon Barkley’s biggest obstacle to winning the championship (Derrick Henry).

King Henry jokingly pleaded with Saquon Barkley after the Ravens’ victory on Monday Night Football. Pleasures will be thrown out the window at kickoff. Baltimore is one of the toughest tests for the Eagles on both ends of the court this season.
