3 people injured in shooting near Burton Heights neighborhood

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – An early Thanksgiving morning shooting injured three people near Grand Rapids’ Burton Heights neighborhood.

According to the Grand Rapids Police Department, the shooting occurred at the intersection of Burton Street and Division Avenue just after 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Three injured people were transported to a nearby hospital.

The victims’ injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

No arrests have been made at this time, but the investigation is still ongoing.
