Man dies 10 months after Parkdale attack; suspect charged with murder – CP24

A 63-year-old man has died 10 months after being assaulted at a Parkdale multi-unit residence.

Toronto police said the incident occurred on January 23 at a nearby home Fuller Avenue and Queen Street Westwest of Lansdowne Avenue.

Police said Alan Mylachuk suffered serious injuries in the attack and was taken to hospital. On Friday, police announced that he had died on November 23.

Mylachuk belongs to the city 80th murder victim of the year.

Meanwhile, a suspect identified as 56-year-old Timothy Graves was initially arrested and charged with aggravated assault and failure to comply with a release order.

Police said Graves was arrested again Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder.

Police said Graves and the victim were known to each other.
