Three people arrested in connection with raids on prostitutes in Temecula

Authorities said today that three people were arrested in two separate raids in Temecula for allegedly soliciting prostitution.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, on November 6, deputies investigated a business located at 31300 Temecula Parkway for alleged acts of prostitution.

The sheriff’s CORE team worked with the Special Enforcement Team and the Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force to conduct a second search warrant on Tuesday, when they allegedly determined that acts of prostitution had taken place.

A 41-year-old Temecula man was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on solicitation charges. No background information about Wei was immediately available.

On Wednesday, deputies received an anonymous tip regarding alleged acts of prostitution at a Temecula massage parlor. After serving a search warrant at the 2700 block of Jefferson Avenue, a 40-year-old man from Monrovia and a 47-year-old man from San Gabriel were arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitution and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta.

According to authorities, two victims at each facility were offered help from a victim advocate case manager.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children says 1 in 6 at-risk runaways are likely victims of sex trafficking and experience severe emotional and physical abuse.
