Arizona man arrested for threatening to kill Trump and ‘entire family’

Feds have arrested an Arizona man for sharing “almost daily” profanity-laced videos of him brandishing an assault rifle and threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump and members of Trump’s family.

Court documents obtained by several news outlets show that Manuel Tamayo-Torres is accused of making “vague but direct threats” against the “president-elect.” They are calling the victim “Individual 1,” but sources close to the case confirmed to ABC News that Trump was the target of the threats.

In Facebook videos, some of which were shared as recently as last week, Tamayo-Torres allegedly makes a slew of outlandish allegations, including that Trump kidnapped and sex trafficked his children.

“You’re going to die,” Tamayo-Torres allegedly said in a video released last Thursday, according to ABC News. “Your son will die. Your whole family will die. … I will put a hole in your face.”

According to charging documents, in a separate video released earlier this month, Tamayo-Torres was armed with “what appears to be a white AR-15-style rifle with a 30-round magazine inserted in it.”

In another video from Aug. 23, the suspect recorded himself at a Trump rally at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale. In the recording, Tamayo-Torres said he witnessed his daughter being kidnapped by members of the Secret Service and the president-elect.

The Glendale rally came about a month after Trump was targeted in Butler, Penn.

During the investigation of Tamayo-Torres, a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives officer found photos on Facebook of Tamayo-Torres holding a bullpup shotgun, a rifle and an AR-15-style rifle seen in one photo from his videos, as according to the charging documents.

Tamayo-Torres was arrested earlier this week in California on charges of threatening the president or his successor. He also faces four counts of making false statements when purchasing a firearm after he allegedly lied on federal forms last year while trying to buy a handgun at a Phoenix gun store.
