Former Bolivian president shares video of ‘assassination attempt’.

Former Bolivian President Evo Morales said his vehicle was shot at on Sunday in what he said was an assassination attempt.

Footage posted on social media shows Morales sitting in the passenger seat of the car while other passengers shout at him to duck. Two bullet holes are visible in the vehicle’s windshield.

In a statement, Morales’ Movement for Socialism (Mas) party said it held the current government responsible.

President Luis Arce condemned political violence and said the incident would be investigated.
