Honda recall for fuel leakage problem

Honda is calling for a recall of 720,810 vehicles due to the risk that “the high-pressure fuel pump may rupture and leak fuel,” the car company said in NHTSA report. The report concluded that fuel leakage near an ignition source could increase the risk of fire.

To resolve the problem, dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the high-pressure fuel pump. Recall notification letters are expected to be sent by December 4. Owners can contact Honda Customer Service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda’s number for this recall is PJW.

The Ford retired due to loss of control

Ferry Recalls 2,416 2024-2024 Ranger and 2024-2025 Bronco vehicles. In NHTSA report the car manufacturer stated that “the front upper control arm ball joint nut may not have been properly installed or tightened (allowing the front upper control arm to become disconnected from the steering knuckle).” A disconnected control arm may cause the vehicle to lose steering and control. The report concluded that this problem increases the risk of an accident.

To resolve the issue, dealers will perform an inspection and verify that the ball joint mounting is properly torqued. If a fastener is loose or missing, your dealer will replace the ball joint and knuckle if necessary. This service will be provided free of charge. Recall notification letters are expected to be sent by October 28. Owners can contact Ford Customer Service at 1-866-436-7332. The Ford number affected by this recall is 24S64.

Suzuki Recall for Brake Port Block

Suzuki is recalling 6,338 of its 2022-2024 GSX1300R (Hayabusa) motorcycles. In NHTSA report The car company stated that “the internal rubber components of the master cylinder may swell due to contamination from the brake fluid cap diaphragm.” The NHTSA report stated that this would cause the brake fluid port to clog. A blocked brake fluid hole can increase the distance required to stop. The report shows that this defect increases the risk of an accident.

The NHTSA report also noted that “these motorcycles do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 122, Motorcycle Braking Systems.”

Dealers will replace the front brake master cylinder body and brake fluid cap diaphragm free of charge. Recall notification letters are expected to be received by October 25.
