10 TGSP employees were fired for agitation

The dismissals, which came a day after the suspension of 39 special police officers, were based on actions deemed to pose a threat to the public interest and battalion discipline.

They were dismissed pursuant to Art. 311 section 2 letter b) the Constitution.

According to an official statement by TGSP Additional Director General Sanjay Kumar Jain, the personnel staged protests in the battalion premises and public places across the state despite being warned to desist. The released personnel are G. Ravikumar – 3rd Battalion, Ibrahimpatnam, K. Bhushan Rao – 6th Battalion, Kothagudem, V Ramakrishna, SK Shafi of 12th Anneparthi Battalion, K. Lakshminarayana, S karunakar Reddy, T Vamshi, B. Ashok, R Srinivas of 17th Battalion, Siricilla and AR SI T Sairam.
