LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO) – The Lexington County coroner has identified the person who died after a two-vehicle collision, the coroner’s office said.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Martin Neese Road and Hwy 6 in the Swansea area at approximately 4:58 p.m. on Sunday, October 27.

Marion Phillip Glymph, 68, of Lexington, was driving northbound on Martin Neese Road when she was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Highway 6 at the intersection, according to Coroner Margaret Fisher.

Glymph, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of injuries sustained during the collision.

Two people in the second vehicle were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident.
