1 person was taken to hospital as a result of a JCPS bus accident; No students reported injuries

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A car and bus traveling to Jefferson County Public Schools were involved in an accident in southeast Louisville.

Louisville Metro Police officers were called to Bardstown Road at Glenmary Village Boulevard just before 7:30 a.m. on Monday, October 28.

The driver of the car was taken to University Hospitals in Louisville and is expected to survive.

Louisville Metro Police said no injuries were reported on the JCPS bus carrying five students.

LMPD 7th Division is investigating the collision.
