Sean Combs sued for sexual assault of 10-year-old singer

Sean “Diddy” Combs was hit with another disturbing lawsuit on Monday as he’s in a federal prison in Brooklyn is awaiting trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. The new plaintiff claims he was a 10-year-old aspiring rapper when Combs allegedly drugged and raped him in a New York hotel in 2005 during an alleged audition.

The new complaint was filed by prominent Houston attorney Tony Buzbee and his California counterpart, Andrew Van Arsdale, the latest in a flurry of lawsuits filed by anonymous plaintiffs who claimed they experienced sexual assault by Combs. Many of the plaintiffs alleged that they were secretly drugged, forced to perform non-consensual sexual acts and threatened to keep silent.

In a new lawsuit filed in New York State Court in Manhattan, John Doe claims his parents accompanied him to Manhattan to meet with music industry officials, including Combs, to advance his career. He says a consultant hired by his parents delivered him to a hotel room and then left him in Combs’ care. The lawsuit says the plaintiff received a soda that he believed contained drugs.

“When plaintiff drank the soda and began to feel its effects, Combs told plaintiff to come closer to him, which he did. Combs then violently pushed the plaintiff to the ground and uttered words such as: “Sometimes you have to do things you don’t want to do,” the lawsuit says. “When the plaintiff pushed the plaintiff down, Combs pulled the plaintiff’s penis out of his pants and told the ten-year-old plaintiff to ‘kiss him.’ When the plaintiff resisted, Combs nevertheless forced his penis into the plaintiff’s mouth and began thrusting it in and out repeatedly. The plaintiff claims he “froze with terror,” lost consciousness, and later woke up with his pants unzipped and pain in his anus and buttocks. (A representative for Combs did not immediately respond to a request for comment.)

The new plaintiff maintains that his parents later noticed something was wrong. He says he told them what allegedly happened and that “they were terrified of the potential consequences of reporting the harassment.” He claimed to suffer from severe depression and anxiety and had to study at home after the alleged incident.

Buzbee previously filed 13 lawsuits against Combs in two waves October 14 AND October 20but Combs’ current legal troubles date back to last November, when his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, filed a Bomb rape and sex trafficking case against him. The combs were settled with Ventura within 24 hours. In her disturbing complaint, Ventura accused Combs of repeated physical violence and forcing her to participate in highly choreographed, drug-fueled sexual encounters known as “freaks.”

Two more women came forward with rape complaints a week after Ventura’s lawsuit made international headlines. Several other people filed similar lawsuits in the following months, leading to a parallel investigation Combs’ indictment by a grand jury last month. Powerful music mogul, 54 years old he pleaded not guilty. His trial is scheduled to start in May next year.

On Friday, the judge overseeing Combs’ criminal case issued an order saying he expected all parties to follow the rules of evidence and keep sensitive, nonpublic information about Combs’ criminal case secret until trial. Judge Arun Subramanian of the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York issued his order after Combs’ lawyers accused federal officials of leaking information to the media.

“To be clear, this order is not based on a finding that irregularities have occurred to date, as the court has not made any findings at this stage regarding the defendant’s claims that information related to the case was leaked,” the judge wrote. “The purpose of this order is to ensure that nothing happens from this point forward that would interfere with a fair trial.”

If convicted of the charges, Combs faces a minimum of 15 years to life in prison. In a statement released earlier this month, Combs’ camp called Buzbee’s flood of lawsuits “a clear attempt to gain publicity.”

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, his legal defense and the fairness of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: Mr. Combs has never committed sexual violence – either to an adult or a minor, to a man or to a woman,” he stated. Combs’ media team said in a statement.
