Players will receive a solid supply of potions, ingredients and upgrade materials for the game in the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta.

Capcom has never been shy about rewarding its players for participating in Monster Hunter games, events, and activities, and with the open beta taking place this week, the developer is cooking up something nice for everyone who participates. Those who take part in the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta and keep their save data will receive an item pack full of potions and upgrade materials as a thank you when they launch the game.

Capcom announced item pack details for the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta via a tweet on the site Monster Hunter Social Media. As announced, all players need to do is take part in the competition open betas taking place this week. If you create your character data (that is, complete your created character and save your data) and then get the full version of Monster Hunter Wilds on the same platform, you will be able to load your character data and secure a free item pack when Monster Hunter Wilds launches. The instructions emphasize that you must save your beta character data to receive the pack.

After obtaining the item pack for Monster Hunter Wilds, when you start a new adventure with your character data in the full game, you will unlock the following items:

  • Mega Potion x 10
  • Right x 5
  • Life Powder x 5
  • Maximum potion x 2
  • Herbal medicine x 2
  • Nullberry x 2
  • Armor Orb x 5

Many of these items shouldn’t be too difficult to craft or collect, but having them will be no less a boon to any hunter, especially with respect to Armor Spheres, which are used to upgrade any armor you have as a base piece.
