School district investigates bus video

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Knox County Schools administrators are investigating a video posted on social media that reportedly shows a coach using vulgar language while talking to players in the locker room.

The Knox County high school’s coach has not been officially identified.

Communications director Frank Shelton told WYMT, “We are committed to a thorough review and will take necessary action.”

“Knox County Public Schools has been made aware of allegations of sportsmanship involving a coach and teammates and is investigating them. As this is an ongoing personnel matter, we are unable to provide further comment. We want to assure parents that we are committed to a thorough review and will take the necessary actions to maintain the standards of our sports programs.”
