Terror grips Balochistan as five people die in the Panjgur dam under construction

Attack by unknown perpetrators on a dam under construction in the Prome area of Panjgur district.

According to the Balochistan Armed Forces – the paramilitary gendarmerie – five people were killed as a result of the shelling, and the attackers managed to escape from the construction site.

“The forces cordoned off the area and began searching for the attackers,” the statement said.

In August, the territories stopped a convoy of vehicles coming from Punjab, including a passenger bus, and 23 people were killed in a shooting that occurred in the Rarasham area of Tingri Tehsil, 72 km from Musa Khel district in Balochistan.

The accused stopped the vehicles on the national highway and shot at the passengers in the same old pattern that had seen various workers shot dead in earlier incidents in the South-West Province.

A heavy contingent of Levies and police arrived at the scene. Balochistan Levies officials said the bodies of the passengers were then taken to a hospital and then to their hometowns in Punjab, where they were buried peacefully in the presence of thousands of mourners.
