The next branch in Hull, Bricknell, will undergo a two-week clean-up

The council is also encouraging residents to get involved by helping to pick up rubbish and remove graffiti.

Quinn said: “By getting involved in the clean-up, residents can help make a visible difference, engage with their neighbors and make a significant difference to the place where they live.”

Areas across Hull that have already benefited from the project include Kingswood, Ings and Avenue.

The project began in 2023 as a pilot and covered over 260 streets, before being expanded in March the following year.

At the end of November, the local government will announce the next area covered by the program.
