One week until Election Day: Donald Trump will gather at a roundtable on Drexel Hill in Allentown

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — With one week left until Election Day, candidates are focused on changing battleground states.

That’s because Tuesday is the last day you can apply for an absentee ballot in Pennsylvania.

Former President Donald Trump returned to Pennsylvania on Tuesday, where he will hold a roundtable on Drexel Hill with Mike Huckabee and a rally in Allentown.

On Monday, after attending the National Faith Summit, he organized a rally on Georgia Tech’s campus in Atlanta. There, Trump criticized Democrats for using what he considered disgusting rhetoric and told the audience that his administration would stop inflation and restore the American dream.

“We will never give up! We will never give up! We will never give up and we will never give up. Together we will fight, fight, fight and we will win, we will win, we will win,” Trump told the crowd.

That’s because John Legend, Bruce Springsteen and former President Barack Obama were in North Philadelphia on Monday night. They were at Temple University for a rally and concert for Vice President Kamala Harris. It’s part of Democrats’ “When We Vote We Win” concert series aimed at motivating voters in battleground states.

Harris herself was in Michigan with her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz, urging voters to head to the polls.

“Ann Arbor, I have a question for you. Are we ready to do this? Are we ready to vote? Are we ready to win? Yes!” Harris said to the crowd.

For those who still wish to vote by mail, the deadline to request absentee ballots is Tuesday at 5 p.m.

An absentee ballot can be placed in the mail as long as it arrives at the county clerk’s office before 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can also drop it off at a drop box, county commissioner’s office or satellite office.

According to the 6abc data team, more than 60% of Philadelphia-area residents have returned their absentee ballots.

Mailed ballots with errors or failures to be delivered can be corrected.

The commissioner’s office has a list of people who entered errors on their ballots. Anyone who needs their ballot repaired can go in person to have it handled.

“If you are waiting for your absentee ballot and you have not requested it, you will not receive it. If you are expecting to receive a ballot and have not, please check and make sure you have applied,” said Philadelphia City Commissioner Lisa Deeley.
