A Mississippi man was killed in a crash in Walton County

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – One person is dead following a crash in Walton County on Monday evening.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at approximately 9:25 p.m., near mile marker 72 on I-10, traveling westbound, a truck struck a pickup truck in front of them. After the collision, the pickup truck went off the road and hit trees near the road.

As a result of the collision, the pickup driver died on the spot. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and details are limited at this time.
