British woman dies in Rome from ‘allergic reaction to peanuts’ | World news

According to Italian media reports, a 14-year-old British girl died in Rome after suffering an allergic reaction to peanuts.

According to the newspapers “La Stampa” and “Corriere Della Sera”, the girl and her family arrived in the Italian capital last Thursday.

It is said that on the first day of their holiday in the city, they went out for dinner near their accommodation, but during the meal, the girl reportedly suffered an allergic reaction, which caused her to go into anaphylactic shock.

According to reports, she was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.

The local prosecutor’s office has initiated an investigation into the murder, local media report.

Any such testing will depend on whether or not her allergy was communicated to the restaurant where they ate – or whether there were difficulties in sharing the information – it added.
