The film shows former UW football players attacking a cyclist during a road accident

The newly published video shows two former UW football players attacking a cyclist earlier this year.

Diesel Gordon and Tylin “Tybo” Rogers were charged March attack and they are no longer in the band.

Rogers is too facing rape allegations and has a separate criminal case that is still pending in court.

Gordon pleaded guilty to assault and was ordered to serve three days in jail, pay a small fine and complete 24 hours of community service.

Both the criminal cases involving rape and assault charges against Rogers are still pending.

The newly published video shows former UW football players attacking a cyclist in a stairwell as part of an apparent road incident following an earlier argument on the road.

In the video, both players repeatedly spit on the victim, pushing him to the ground and kicking his property.

According to the victim, he was returning home when he had just learned that his roommate had died as a result of the assault. Nearly a month later, both Rogers and Gordon were finally arrested for assault.

This all happened while Rogers was also under investigation for two alleged rapes that occurred earlier this school year in the fall of 2023.

According to the police rape report, Rogers forced himself on both victims, violently choking them and punching one of them. The report also indicated that one of the alleged victims dropped out of school, lost her job and attempted suicide.

Rogers was briefly suspended from the team and then reinstated while investigating the rape allegations in November 2023, but was ultimately fired he left the band in May and it still is fighting rape and assault accusations in court.

Rogers is scheduled to return to court Tuesday afternoon for a pretrial hearing in the rape case. The trial date was tentatively set for December.
