Brandon Cromartie | Substitute teacher charged with indecent liberties with Fayetteville Middle School student

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) — Fayetteville police detectives arrested a man accused of sex crimes while he was working as a substitute teacher at a middle school.

Brandon Cromartie, 31, worked at St. John’s High School. Nick Jeralds when the incidents allegedly occurred last school year.

Cromartie was charged with indecent liberties with a student.

“Evidence recently brought to light has initiated an investigation,” FPD said in a news release.

Cromartie posted $25,000 bail and was released from the Cumberland County Jail.
