A helicopter lands on I-80 after a partial crash in York County

YORK COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) – The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a crash that happened Tuesday morning on Interstate 80 in York County.

NSP says the semi entered the median and collided with the guardrail near mile marker 358, west of the Waco exit.

Star Care was called and transported the driver to Bryan West in Lincoln. I-80 was closed briefly for a helicopter landing.

One lane of eastbound I-80 was closed for a period of time Tuesday as the scene of the crash was investigated.

The driver’s condition is unknown at this time.
