Woman hit by vehicle in Fairview: police

A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Fairview Parish on Tuesday afternoon.

In an emailed statement, Calgary police said they received a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the area of ​​Fairmount Drive and Flint Road SE around 2:45 p.m.

According to the police, the pedestrian, a 20-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

Some roads in the area are closed as police investigate the incident.
