Albany police arrest suspect involved in fatal shooting at ASU at Grant Place

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – A man has been arrested in connection with two fatal shootings at Albany State University and Grant Place.

On August 9, 19-year-old Aaron Donye White was died in a shooting at 200 Grant Place. Jeremy L. Marshall, 18, was arrested in connection with White’s death.

Police say Marshall is also involved in the fatal shooting at ASU on Oct. 19. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating this incident.

He is the third person arrested in connection with the Grant Place shooting and the first person arrested in connection with the ASU shooting.

Marshall was charged with murder (participating in a crime) and several counts of aggravated assault. He was taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
