A 15-year-old boy dies after being trapped by a wheel loader while trying to move a bale of hay

Ryan, Iowa (KCRG/Gray News) – Authorities in Iowa say a teenager has died in a wheel loader accident.

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, 15-year-old Logan Paul was injured Monday evening when he became stuck between a wheel loader and a bale of hay.

The accident occurred at a property on Martin Creek Road around 5:30 p.m

Sheriff’s deputies said the boy was carrying a bale of hay when he became trapped.

He was taken to hospital but did not survive his injuries.

Linn County authorities say the crash remains under investigation.
