Clark County identifies victims of fire in southwest Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – Clark County has identified the four victims who died in a tragic fire in southwest Las Vegas.

The there was a fire on Langhorne Creek Street near Shelbourne and Jones early Thursday morning.

The Clark County Fire Department responded. The services tried to enter the house through the second floor, but the heat pushed them outside. Two crews managed to enter through the garage until the house began to collapse.

Firefighters say the roof, third and second floors of the garage collapsed.

The Clark County Coroner identified the four as: 48-year-old Ibrahim Adem, 43-year-old Abdusalem Adem, 7-year-old Anaya Adem and 6-year-old Aaliyah Adem.

Clark County has identified the four victims who died in a tragic fire in southwest Las Vegas.

Neighbors say their house was demolished on Monday afternoon. Across the street is a memorial to the four, filled with flowers, stuffed animals and candles.

The Southern Nevada Firefighters Burn Foundation is we are now collecting donations for the family.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Clark County Fire Chief John Steinbeck said, expecting the investigation to take some time.
