The death toll from the strike in Kryvyi Rih, Russia on October 28 has risen to two

A local official said on October 30 that the death toll from a Russian missile attack on the town of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on October 28 had risen to two after a man died in hospital.

“Unfortunately, a 55-year-old man died at 8:50 a.m.,” he said Aleksandra Wilkulahead of the city’s military administration, on his Telegram channel.

The devastating attack damaged 11 residential buildings, a medical clinic, a school, an administration building, 10 garages and a gas pipeline.

Initially, it was reported that one person was killed and 14 were injured, of which 10 were taken to hospital.

Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of President Volodymyr Zelensky, remained frequent target Russia’s missile attacks. It is the second largest city in the country, with approximately 660,000 inhabitants Dnipropetrovsk region.

The city lies approximately 70 kilometers northwest of the nearest front zone.
