Man charged in shooting that injured two people near Loyola CTA stationTevon Jackson, 24, is accused of Monday’s shooting in Chicago near the CTA Red Line Loyola station, which injured two men after an argument.

CHICAGO (WLS) — A man has been charged in the shooting that injured two men near the CTA Loyola Red Line station on Monday afternoon.

Police said a group of three men were walking on the 1200 block of West Loyola Avenue near the CTA stop just after 2 p.m. Monday when a man approached them and started an argument with them. The man then pulled out a gun and opened fire on all three victims.

Police said the 28-year-old man was hit in the right arm and the 24-year-old was hit in the right arm. Both of them were taken to St. Hospital in moderate condition. Franciszek.

Police said the third person was not hit by the shots and refused medical attention.

Tevon Jackson, 24, of Chicago is charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday for a detention hearing.
