The Space Coast State Fair Runs Oct. 31 through Nov. 17 at Space Coast Daily Park, 5775 Stadium Pkwy., Viera. In addition to thrilling rides, games and fun, the fair also includes animal shows, professional bull riding and more. Admission is $10 or free for children under 36 inches tall or seniors 65 and older. Ticket add-ons are available, including unlimited rides (starting at $25) and fast passes ($10). The Melbourne city band brings all of its bands together for the first time for a one-night-only concert on Thursday, November 7 at 7 p.m. at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd. The evening will feature performances by MMB Concert Band, Rock & Roll Revue, 3-2-1-Jazz Orchestra, Adagio Sax Quartet, New Horizons Band, Clarinetics and Sunshine Brass Quintet. The annual event is organized by the Brevard County chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Walking Out of the Darkness in Brevard County on Saturday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive, Melbourne. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention initiatives, support those affected by suicide and promote a culture that promotes mental health. Registration is required, but there is no registration fee or minimum amount that must be raised to participate, although a goal of $150 or more is recommended. The American Space Museum and the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Foundation will host a memorabilia show at the Beachside Hotel and Suites, 3901 N.
