Federal Minister of Home Affairs Mohsin Naqvi has ordered NADRA to take immediate action against those involved in the attack on former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle in London and to take immediate action to identify the attackers based on video footage, while condemning the incident and calling it “disturbing”.

According to Express News, Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered legal action against the attackers, including filing an FIR in Pakistan. Actions will also be taken to block the attackers’ ID cards and take away their passports.

Mohsin Naqvi stressed that swift action will be taken against those responsible for the attack regarding their citizenship and the cases will be sent to the government for approval.

He stated: “Such attacks cannot be tolerated,” referring to a similar incident involving the Pakistan High Commission in London. He asked why no protection was provided to former CJP Isa, who was reportedly threatened.

Former Chief Justice Isa completed her term on the Supreme Court and stepped down last Thursday.

His departure was marked by standard security protocols and he was accompanied by a designated protocol officer.
