Metro Boomin released a statement through his lawyer denying a recent lawsuit filed against him accusing him of sexual assault.

“It’s pure confrontation,” Metro attorney Lawrence Hinkle II told TMZ. “These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago and refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. If he wins, he will file a willful misconduct lawsuit.”

A woman named Vanessa LeMaistre claims that Metro, real name Leland Wayne, raped her at his studio in 2016 after first meeting in Las Vegas.

He claims that during one visit to his Los Angeles studio, she was “immediately given a shot of alcohol. She also swallowed half of a Xanax bar she was using to deal with anxiety after the loss of her son” and passed out on the couch.

When she woke up, LaMaistre found that she could not move or make any sound because the producer had had intercourse with her without her consent. A few weeks later she discovered she was pregnant.

LeMaistre also claims that the rapper mentioned the attack in 21 Savage’s song “Rap Saved Me” released in 2017.

“She took Xanny, then she fainted / I’m from the gutter, nothing changes / From the gutter, rap saved me / It’s driving me crazy, I’m having a baby.”
