One person is dead after a crash in Bryan County

BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – A Texas man was killed in a crash in Bryan County on Wednesday morning.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers, Paul Beaty II, 23, of Duncanville, was driving behind a semi on State Highway 78, about three miles north of Kemp.

Police said Beaty was trying to pass a semi-trailer in front of him when he was hit by another semi-trailer going in the opposite direction, and then his car was struck by the semi-trailer he was trying to pass.

Beata was pronounced dead at the scene.
