4 family members die after a fiery two-car accident

THORNTON, Colo. (KMGH) – Two brothers from Thornton, Colorado are mourning the loss of their family.

Their parents and two younger sisters died over the weekend in a fiery car crash.

The brothers say their family was heading to Walmart to get groceries when they were hit from behind.

“I couldn’t have dreamed of a better family,” said Adam Díaz.

Their house was usually filled with music.

“She always sang songs with all her might on the way to school,” recalls Adam Díaz.

It was also full of kindness.

“My parents always helped me. No matter what, you can just call them and they will always help,” added Adam Díaz.

Now their house is quiet.

“I get a message, a notification on my phone, that my younger sister has been detected in an accident,” recalls Adam Díaz’s brother, Daniel.

Late Saturday evening, Thornton police responded to a report of a car accident.

“Then I had no strength. I went to the car, called my brother,” Daniel Díaz described.

The disaster caused a fire that destroyed the Díaz brothers’ entire world.

“I saw my dad in the driver’s seat, and when I saw he was there and he wasn’t moving, I immediately knew my whole family was sitting there,” Adam Díaz said.

Two brothers are speaking out after their entire family was killed in a car crash over the weekend.

They were led by Father Francisco.

“He was very quiet, but with the right people he was very outgoing and talkative,” Adam Díaz said.

Beatriz, the mother of the family, was also in the car.

“My mother was the complete opposite. No matter where, she always made friends, whether it was in the store or with her family,” said Adam Díaz.

The victims also included Paoloa’s 15-year-old sister and Nataly’s 10-year-old sister.

“My younger sisters always want to go to the cinema, do something, hang out,” Adam Díaz described. “They told me four people died in that car, but I hoped that wasn’t the case.”

The brothers say their lives were just getting started.

“My dad’s goal was to open a granite company,” said Daniel Díaz. “Our goal was to get enough money, move out, have our own home and support our parents.”

Now their future is uncertain.

“We feel lost,” said Adam Díaz. “We don’t even know what the next step will be. It doesn’t even seem real yet because it’s hard to believe.”

The brothers are now afraid of returning to an empty house filled only with memories.

“Everything will work out,” said Adam Díaz. “It will take some time, but it will be done.”

AND GoFundMe it was established for two brothers; raised over $110,000.

“But it’s not the same when I leave work and see an empty house, my parents who are with you and waiting for a meal every afternoon,” said Danial Díaz.
