3 dead in possible murder-suicide in Bronx: sources

LONGWOOD, Bronx (PIX11) – Three people were shot to death Wednesday night in a possible double murder-suicide at a Bronx home, according to police and sources.

The officers found a 34-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman with them gunshot wounds to the head at the house at 613 Southern Blvd. According to the NYPD, around 8:10 p.m. Another man, 57, was shot multiple times in the body inside the house.

According to the police, a 57-year-old man and woman died at the scene. The 34-year-old victim was taken to hospital, but he could not be saved.

Authorities believe the shooting was a domestic incident, sources said. The investigation is ongoing.

The victims have not been identified.

According to data from the New York Police Department, there have been six murders in the 41st Precinct in the Bronx this year, two fewer than in 2023.
