How have the new Detroit Lions impacted the defense in the first 6 games?

20 people: If you haven’t seen or listened to mine podcast from what I heard a few weeks ago when I was listening to Amik Robertson, it’s worth listening to. It’s great.

I think he was a good addition in this situation, bringing decisiveness and boldness to Detroit’s defense. This allowed Brian Branch to move to safety full-time and play at a Pro Bowl level there.

In six games, Robertson has allowed 19 receptions for 210 yards, and last week he gave up his first touchdown in coverage to Justin Jefferson.

“He really fit for us and I mentioned it the other day in the game, we come in there in nickel, between CD (Carlton Davis III) and TA (Terrion Arnold) and Amik, those guys are… now some hitters are attacking,” the major said this week Lions coach Dan Campbell when asked about Robertson. “So I like where he’s at and he’s getting better every week.”
