A police officer was injured following a “disturbance” at a Dunfermline supermarket, three teenagers have said

Three teenagers are to be reported after an incident at an Asda supermarket which left a police officer with facial injuries.

Emergency services were called to the supermarket on Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, at around 10.55pm on Thursday after receiving reports of a disturbance.

The officer who answered the call was injured in the alleged attack.

Two 15-year-old girls and a 14-year-old boy are to be reported to the authorities in connection with the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 10.55pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024, we were called to reports of a disturbance at a supermarket on Halbeath Road, Dunfermline.

“The officer suffered facial injuries when she was attacked while responding to the incident.

“Two 15-year-old females and a 14-year-old male will be the subject of reports to the appropriate authorities.”
