Two people injured in crash on Highway 52 near Chatfield

CHATFIELD, Minn. (KTTC) — A 79-year-old passenger and a 17-year-old driver were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, around 7:20 a.m., a Chevy Equinox and a Mitsubishi Mirage were traveling north on Highway 52 near Chatfield when they collided.

The 17-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to Mayo Clinic Saint Marys Hospital in unknown condition.

A 79-year-old passenger in the Equinox was also sent to Mayo Clinic with minor injuries. Nothing happened to the driver.
