Bills puts DT DeWayne Carter on IR as he heads for wrist surgery

The team announced that the Bills had moved rookie DeWyne Carter to injured reserve on Friday.

Coach Sean McDermott said Carter has a wrist injury that will require surgery.

– He’ll have to eventually undergo surgeryso he’ll be out for a few weeks,” McDermott said Friday, via Maddy Glab of the team’s website.

The newcomer will be sidelined for at least four weeks.

Carter has appeared in two games this season and started in seven. Carter has four tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one pass defended and nine total tackles.
