Bad news for Dallas Cowboys fans

Bad news for Dallas Cowboys fans

Dallas Cowboys Nation, it’s not a good Friday.

After the team’s bye week, there was hope that the Cowboys’ defense would return to full strength. There were no All-Pro players on the defensive unit Micah Parsons and DaRon Bland, veteran linebacker Eric KendricksAND standout rookie Caelen Carson.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this wish will come true.

On Friday, the Dallas Cowboys officially ruled Parsons and Bland out of Sunday’s primetime game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Meanwhile, Kendricks and Carson are listed as questionable.

Since then, Parsons has been sidelined suffered a sprained ankle during the team’s Week 4 victory over the New York Giants. Bland is yet to get fit this season after undergoing foot surgery at the end of pre-season and being placed on injured reserve.

This is an unfortunate turn of events, but Dallas will still have an opportunity to play well against the team deficient 49ers offense.

The Sunday Night Football game between the Cowboys and 49ers is scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and will be streamed live on Peacock.
