A man has been identified following a fatal city bus crash earlier this month

COLORADO SPRINGS – A man has been identified following a fatal city bus crash earlier this month in Colorado Springs.

The man was 46-year-old Anthony Durham, according to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), 43 people have been killed this year. This time last year, 52 people died on the roads.

General information

The crash occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 12 at the intersection of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Regent Circle, which is located near UCCS.

According to CSPD, the crash involved an SUV and a city bus. The driver of the SUV, later identified as Durham, was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

A CSPD investigation revealed that the bus had a green light and was entering the intersection when the SUV struck it.
