A man commits suicide by hanging

A 35-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling at his Bhim Nagar residence. The initial investigation did not reveal any reasons for suicide.

The wife and children of deceased Arvind Kumar Prajapati were not at home at the time of his suicide. At midnight, the seven-year-old son woke up and saw his father’s body hanging from the ceiling.

He immediately informed his mother about the whole matter. The mother raised the alarm and with the help of neighbors the body was suppressed. The police initiated an investigation.

According to police, Arvind Kumar was a resident of Bhim Nagar and worked as a loading vehicle driver.

His brother Sunil Prajapati said he cleaned the house after returning from work on Thursday evening. On the occasion of Diwali, he also painted the house himself. At around 11:30 p.m., his daughter, son and wife were sleeping in one room.

Late at 1 a.m. the son woke up and went to check how many paintings his father had painted and found his father’s hanging body. He immediately woke up his mother, who alerted the neighbors, took the body away and notified the police.

After receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and secured the body. During a search of the room, the police did not find any suicide note. The police confiscated the deceased’s mobile phone.
