Tragic attack in southeast Iran: day of mourning

Ten members of Iran’s National Police were killed in an attack in the southeast of the country on Saturday, according to local media.

The incident occurred in Gohar Kuh, 1,200 kilometers from Tehran, making headlines across the country as authorities struggle to reveal facts about the tragic attack.

The state-run IRNA news agency named the attackers as “rogues” with no immediate suspects or claims of responsibility, amid heightened tensions following Israel’s attack the same day.
