Justin Moore, who died in a crash in Perinton, New York, has been identified

The motorcyclist killed in a crash on Turk Hill Road in Perinton has been identified as Justin E. Moore, 48, of Fairport, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened just after 9:15 a.m. Thursday on Turk Hill Road, north of Steele Road, said deputy sheriff’s spokesman Brendan Hurley. Initial reports indicate Moore was driving south on Turk Hill Road when, for an unknown reason, he veered into the northbound lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle, deputies said.

Moore was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

“We extend our sympathies to his family and friends at this time,” Hurley said in a statement.

No further details of the disaster were provided.
