EVANSVILLE — An Elbow Lake woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash near Evansville on Friday, Oct. 25.

Brianna Lopez, 37, of Elbow Lake was driving a 2006 Jeep Liberty west on State Highway 79 and Josiah Cole, 20, of Duluth, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 north on Douglas County Road 25 when the vehicles collided at the intersection – he claims. Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident report shows Lopez, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Alomere Health in Alexandria with non-life-threatening injuries.

Cole, who was also wearing a seat belt, was not injured, according to the state patrol.

The airbags deployed in both vehicles.

The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m., about three miles west of Evansville. Road conditions were dry.

Responding agencies included Ashby Paramedics, Evansville Fire and Paramedics and North Memorial Ambulance.
