A Boonville woman was seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 70 Friday evening

A Boonville woman was seriously injured Friday evening in a crash on Interstate 70 in Cooper County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report, the crash occurred at 8:33 p.m. at 170 miles.

Breanna Connell, 27, was driving eastbound in a 2012 Mazda CX-9.

The report states that the car went off the left side of the road and hit the center cable.

He returned to the road, drove off the right side and hit the barrier.

He returned to the road and went off the left side again, hitting the center cable.

An ambulance crew took Connell with serious injuries to University Hospital.
