Former President Donald Trump delivered a speech on a battlefield in Michigan on Friday.

TRAVERSE CITY, MI. – Video message from former president Donald Trump it wasn’t enough to keep many of his supporters waiting after he told them he would be three hours late for a rally in Traverse City, Michigan.

Trump was several hours late to his own rally on Friday night because of him interview with Joe Rogan, the most popular podcast in the country. The interview, recorded in Austin, Texas, aired on Friday evening and lasted a whopping three hours, with Trump telling many famous stories from his rallies and other interviews, but also talking to Rogan about topics such as the existence of UFOs.

When he finally arrived, Trump apologized to the crowd for the delay.

“I’m very sorry,” he said. “We were very close and I thought you wouldn’t mind because we’re trying to win.”

Many of his supporters left the rally before his arrival, and those who remained on the tarmac, huddled in the cold, waited for the former president to land on the battlefield.

Harris protests for reproductive freedom in Houston, Texas

Vice President Kamala Harris delivered remarks on reproductive freedom on Friday in Houston, Texas. The Democratic presidential candidate was also joined on stage by Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland.

Democrat Kamala Harris was also in Texas on Friday to appear with superstar Beyoncé in Houston at an event dedicated to the conservative state’s abortion ban, which was passed after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The three justices who voted to overturn Roe were nominated by Trump.
