Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal moped crash on El Capitan near Flamingo

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal crash Friday afternoon near West Flamingo and El Capitan Way.

Police say a vehicle was leaving a private driveway in the 4000 block of El Capitan Way when it collided with a moped around 3 p.m.

According to LVMPD, the moped driver died at the scene from his injuries.

The other driver remained at the scene.

According to the police, there is no suspicion of bodily harm.

Roads were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
