Burnham-On-Sea Police are appealing for witnesses investigating an assault

Police in Burnham-On-Sea have issued an appeal for witnesses investigating an alleged assault in the town center on Saturday evening (October 26).

Adama Street was closed by police, as shown in the photo, after the incident.

A police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “At around 9.35pm we received a call from a member of the public that a man had attacked several people in Burnham-On-Sea.”

“Emergency services attended the incident on Adama Street and officers remain at the scene carrying out inquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage.”

“One person was taken to hospital with injuries that we do not believe are life-threatening.”

“Witnesses are asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5224282881.”
